Do you love your community and do you love cats? Yours, and everyone else’s? Perhaps you have a mug, a calendar, or a bag featuring the feline form…Or maybe you find yourself gazing upon endless reels of kitty videos, to the point where your algorithm delivers you purely cat-related content. Are there more feline photos on your phone than all of your extended family combined? And do you show any and everyone who is willing (or unwilling even) to look at pictures of your cat? 

 

If you answered Yes to any of these questions then Fernwood has the event for you. Coming for it's second year in the spring of 2026 to be precise, you will be invited to sashay your way through the streets of Fernwood, map in hand (or on your phone), and seek out our community’s kitties. You may have the opportunity to view and pet those adorable fur balls in yards, driveways or sidewalks. Or, if they are shy, at least catch a glimpse of one in the window. (Is there anything more poetically perfect than a cat in the window?).

This whimsical event is free; however, donations will be gladly appreciated.
