Do you love your community and do you love cats? Yours, and everyone else’s? Perhaps you have a mug, a calendar, or a bag featuring the feline form…Or maybe you find yourself gazing upon endless reels of kitty videos, to the point where your algorithm delivers you purely cat-related content. Are there more feline photos on your phone than all of your extended family combined? And do you show any and everyone who is willing (or unwilling even) to look at pictures of your cat? 

 

If you answered Yes to any of these questions then Fernwood has the event for you. Coming this spring of 2025, May 31st at 2pm to be precise, you will be invited to sashay your way through the streets of Fernwood, map in hand (or on your phone), and seek out our community’s kitties. You may have the opportunity to view and pet those adorable fur balls in yards, driveways or sidewalks. Or, if they are shy, at least catch a glimpse of one in the window. (Is there anything more poetically perfect than a cat in the window?).

Vendors will be on-site to sell you all necessary, (and unnecessary) accouterments for your whiskered wonder. Tasty treats and titillating toys galore! From catnip to luxury bedding we will ensure ample paraphernalia is available to keep your precious pet festooned with all the latest wares.

This whimsical event is free; however, donations will be gladly appreciated.

After you have completed your stroll you are invited to gather with your fellow cat lovers at The Fernwood Inn. Have a saucer of your favorite bevvy and talk tabby with your new found friends - you will be able to identify them easily - they will be the ones with cat hair on their clothing, too.

 

So put your best paw forward,  and slink down to Fernwood this spring. Meow!
