Lupin is a domestic shorthair born around Halloween near Nanaimo BC. She is named after the lupin plants growing in our yard, where she likes to hang out chasing bugs.

Following an unfortunate incident where she scratched up the spine on every record in our collection when nobody was home that first Christmas, Lupin has been the perfect feline friend. There are doors on the record cupboards now.

If you're lucky you might hear her 'cackling' at crows. Will it be one of the weirdest things you've ever heard? Yes.

Lupin really likes being pet for about 30 seconds then she's over it. However, she loves being close to her people and is always up for sitting on laps, or books if you're trying to read, or shirts if you're trying to fold them.
