Benjamin is still technically an indoor cat, though he possesses the soul, confidence, and fire of a wild one (perhaps a puma). A champion cuddler, Ben specializes in settling onto unsuspecting humans precisely when they’re about to stand up—especially if a chenille blanket is involved. He graciously tolerates his doodle sister, viewing her as a form of entertainment or mild inconvenience rather than true family. Ben firmly believes we are his staff, and that any delays in meeting his demands are due to our shocking inability to understand him. Also answering to Benjamin, Bin Bin Bon Bon, *Benjamin* (in a French accent) and Benjamin Butthole—he remains deeply loved, mildly judgmental, and entirely in charge.
