Lucy

1433 Grant St

Lucy (full name ĆEĆÁLUSET) was rescued from death row at the SPCA shortly before she turned two. She had a medical condition that was limiting her quality of life, but luckily all that remains are a few bald spots on the back of her neck. Lucy used to live next to Kings Park on Caledonia Ave and has spent most of her years soliciting cuddles from passers by in and around the park. She is very social with people and aloof with fellow cats. Fortunately, since she was an indoor cat in her younger years, she has zero hunting instincts and spends most of her time outside soaking up sunshine. She once disappeared for a week while we were living in Richmond briefly and reappeared unscathed 10km away. She is enjoying her senior years in a home with a cozy fireplace, her own yard, and a view from the couch of a bird-filled apple tree.
